Borja Baragaño
I've been working in several of
Asturian traditional musicschools teaching gaita, flute and uilleann pipe, "La Quintana" co. Xixón, "El Ventolín" co. Pola Siero and "Traditional music aera of conservatory Moreda" co. Ayer. To improve my teaching skills I've studied classical flute in the conservatory "Valle del Nalón" co. Langreo and I have a professional music certificate. In the conservatory they usually have no idea what it is folk-celtic music but I consider that taking classes for another teachers, is good for you way of teaching.

I use to teach two methods: with a score and "by ear". Both of them get good results, and there are always people that prefer one or the other. I have experience in one-to-one lessons as well as group lessons, ages between 7 to almost 80 years old. I have a good repertoire of Asturian, Irish, Scottish and Breton tunes.

At the moment I do workshops at the Pat Kelly Irish School in Elmstein. I offer as well private lessons and I teach also via Skype.
